Weddings at Tawakoni is located at the Disciples Center at Tawakoni; you may remember it as the Boy Scout "Camp Tawakoni," Many relics of the old camp days remain, from wooden cabins to foot bridges over creek beds and trails cutting through the woods.

Lodging in cabins with beds for up to 120 people and unlimited open tent camping. We offer a dining hall with a commercial kitchen, multiple standard kitchens, brand new chapel, covered outdoor chapel, covered picnic shelter, several bonfire sites, a challenge course with a 30 foot rock wall and zipline, 9-hole disc golf course, & paddle boating on the lake, and a large renovated swimming pool with beach entry (to be complete June 2017). Pool use limited to summer only.

Weddings at Tawakoni, at Disciples Center at Tawakoni, is located on Tawakoni Road, the road that divides Andover from Augusta.  We are approximately 25 minutes from downtown Wichita, 5 minutes from Andover YMCA, and 10 minutes from downtown Augusta.  Easy for guests to find, easy to get to without having to drive far we provide the perfect location for your wedding event. 

No matter the season or weather, there are endless beautiful landscapes and rustic sites creating the canvas of your sweet beginning.

Au Naturale Wedding Basic Package $1500

Outdoor ceremony Location Options: 

an open air covered chapel OR An open pasture  OR   Meadow surrounded by trees

Outdoor Reception Location Options:

Use of Leadership Lodge with kitchen/bathrooms and surrounding grassy land OR

Use of Cabin 4 with Kitchen/bathrooms and picnic shelter/surrounding land

Includes: set up day prior and a rehearsal event for up to 6 hours, & usage of a golf cart on wedding day, Wedding day use: 6 hours, each hour is an additional $200. Ability to use the site for one 1 hour session of engagement photos with guided transportation on Gator included by appointment. Up to 300 people total allowed at this event. 

 Staff Site Coordinator Fee is included in total: $300, pay this separately to Ashley, each additional hour beyond 6 hours on the wedding day is an additional $50. Mandatory 2 meetings with Site Coordinator prior to wedding.

*Can upgrade to indoor chapel, indoor dining hall reception, commercial kitchen use, challenge course, or pool use at additional costs, see below.

Dining Hall Reception Area with use of Refrigerators but no kitchen use, upgrade to use kitchen optional* see below.

Includes: set up day prior and a rehearsal event for up to 8 hours, Wedding day use: 8 hours, each hour is an additional $200.  Includes the use of one golf cart on wedding day, ability to use the site for one 1 hour session of engagement photos for free, guided transportation on Gator included by appointment. Use of white or black cloth tablecloths, and if in dining hall, a sheer curtain/rod is provided to cover windows looking into kitchen and a black cloth to cover moveable salad bar.  Use of canoes/paddle boats on Santa Fe Lake Included.  Up to 300 people total at this event.

Upgrades to any package depending on availability:

Pool: Large city size pool with two slippery tunnel slides and zero entry -$500 for 3 hours, $100 for each additional hour, lifeguard included.  Excellent location for an engagement party, or playtime after a rehearsal dinner or reception.  Pool is available June-first week of August.

Commercial Kitchen is available for $500 for 5 hours, staff member required to be present during entire use, set up and clean up must occur within this time frame.  $50 for each additional hour.  

Challenge Course  Certified Challenge Course guides will help your group bond and connect on the rockwall, zipline and other fun games and team building opportunities. Please call for pricing for your group. 

Overnight Guests are $20 pp. with a minimum of 10, and $15 pp with a minimum of 30 guests for indoor lodging or $10/tent. 


CUSTOM PRICING FOR RECEPTION ONLY.  We are happy to provide you a beautiful reception site.  Custom Affordable Pricing available based on how long you will be using facility, what building, and size of the group.  We have five different  buildings to choose from for a variety of group sizes to create an intimate atmosphere for your celebration.
